meditations on time, dance, and tne timeless: /sculpture/

In 2022, Acoocooro invited Taller Batán to collaborate in a form of a still-expanding series of sculptural objects, that originated in a line of research titled ''Meditations on time, Dance, and the Timeless'', based on T.S.Eliot's paradoxical definition of dance in his poem «Burnt Norton», an ongoing investigation of movement, organic flux, and light.

«At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless; nei- ther from nor towards; at the still point, there the
dance is [...] Neither movement from nor towards, neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point, there would be no dance, and there is only the dance». — Burnt Norton (1936), T.S. Eliot.
